Meetings
General meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month. Meetings start at 7:00 pm and are over by 9:00pm.
At each month's meeting, guild members show projects they are working on or have finished in the last month. In addition to the types of wood used, members explain the processes they used, problems they encountered, and their work-arounds, tools and fixtures they made to build the project, special set-ups used, and the finish and finishing process they used.
We also have a program at each month's meeting that covers some aspect of woodworking. In the near past we have had programs on tool sharpening, making and installing crown molding, computer aided design, in-laying mother-of-pearl, shop safety, using a dovetail fixture and many other varied subjects.
Our November meeting is dedicated to our Super Show-And-Tell. This is a chance for guild members to show off their best-of-the-best. Awards are given to the first three places in Furniture, Boxes, Accessories and Tools as well as Best-of-Show.
We meet at Woodcraft January through October. November and December's meetings are at a different location.
